Account Deletion & Data Erasure

Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)

If you currently have access to the Molarity mobile or web app, you can delete your account instantly without human review:

Open the Molarity application or log in at app.molarity.app.
Navigate to Settings (gear icon in the top/bottom navigation).
Scroll to the Account section at the bottom.
Tap Delete Account and confirm the confirmation prompt.

All your consultation records, score rubrics, authentication credentials, and stored media are wiped immediately from our servers in London (europe-west2).

Method 2: Web Deletion Request (Without App Installed)

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access your account, submit a deletion request via our data protection team:

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Molarity account. We will process your erasure within 48 hours and send you a confirmation.

Data Handling & Retention Details

Data Deleted Permanently: Firebase Authentication identity, user profile (name, email), clinical OSCE session records, AI score sheets, examiner feedback, written submission photos, and session transcripts.
Ephemeral Voice Audio: Consultation voice audio is processed in real-time and deleted immediately upon grading completion; no raw audio is retained after a session ends.
Financial Records: If you held an active paid subscription, past payment records and tax receipts are archived strictly by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant) for mandatory UK statutory accounting and tax compliance (HMRC 6-year requirement) but are decoupled from active user tracking.
