Billing & Refund Policy

1. Subscription Model

Molarity Ltd operates on a subscription-based model with monthly billing, alongside periodic cohort-based structured Sprints. Access to the 97+ station bank and AI-powered OSCE sessions is determined by your chosen tier.

2. Quota Management

Subscription quotas for Daily Practice and Exam Ready tiers reset on your monthly billing date. Unused monthly practice allocations do not roll over to the following month.

Session Packs provide additional permanent quota (+10 credits) that does not expire and can be carried over month to month.

For 21-Day Sprint cohorts, access is active for the duration of the cohort cycle, and custom feedback/review quotas must be utilized within that cohort session.

If you exhaust your monthly quota, you can upgrade to a higher tier immediately through the Molarity app.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are handled securely via Stripe. Molarity Ltd does not store your credit or debit card information. By providing payment information, you authorize Stripe and Molarity Ltd to charge the monthly subscription fee until cancellation.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Molarity Ltd subscription at any time through the Settings > Subscription screen in the app or via the Molarity Billing Portal. Upon cancellation:

You will retain full access until the end of your current billing period.
Your subscription will not renew at the next billing date.
No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of the billing month unless required by law.

5. Refund Policy (UK/EU Consumer Rights)

In accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive:

Cooling-off Period: You have a right to request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, provided you have not used more than 3 practice sessions in that period.
Service Faults: If the platform experiences significant technical failures (e.g., prolonged downtime or AI feature unavailability) that prevent use for more than 48 hours, you may be entitled to a pro-rata refund from Molarity Ltd.
How to Request: Email hello@molarity.app with your account email and reason for the request.

6. Changes to Pricing

We reserve the right to change our subscription fees. We will provide at least 30 days' notice via email before any price changes take effect for existing subscribers.
